Hi there!
I am a PhD researcher at the Danish School of Education at Aarhus University.
My current research focuses on understanding the experiences of families comprising children with disabilities in the Danish social welfare system. My research interests lie at the intersection of educational anthropology, social work and disability studies, and are informed by my extensive prior professional experience as a social educator. I am particularly passionate about the capacity of ethnographic methods to shed new light on, and in turn inform policy to shape for the better, the social and systemic dynamics which underpin our wellbeing as people and populations.
I hold a Bachelors in Social Education from University College Copenhagen, a Master of Arts (Education) in Educational Anthropology from Aarhus University, and am particularly interested in collaborating with other researchers and practitioners of similar and related interdisciplinary backgrounds.
